Meaning of Do Not Pass Sign
The do not pass sign tells drivers where passing is not permitted and warns that there is an unsafe stretch of road in front of them with unseen hazards. These signs, together with pavement markings, indicate where you can pass another vehicle and where you cannot. The do not pass sign often works in conjunction with the no passing zone sign, which is yellow and always posted on the left side of the road.
