11. What is the proper way to test your hydraulic brakes for leaks?
A
Pump the brake pedal three times. Then apply firm pressure to the pedal and hold for five seconds. The pedal should not move.

Check for normal air pressure, release the parking brakes and move the vehicle forward slowly. Apply the trailer brakes with the hand control, if so equipped. You should be able to feel the brakes come on.

There is no way to test if your hydraulic brakes are working.
